HVAC Rebates for Vancouver, WA & Portland, OR

Manufacturers and local utility companies provide rebates to encourage energy efficiency. We make sure you are able to take advantage of every possible government rebate or tax incentive as you purchase your new HVAC system.

Manufacturer Rebates*

Manufacturers will also incentivize homeowners to purchase new systems through seasonal rebate programs. Brands like Lennox run seasonal promotions that will often include rebates and incentives on higher-end equipment. Sometimes manufacturers give away free products like an iPad with the purchase of a new HVAC system.

Utility Rebates*

Utility companies may also encourage buyers to purchase energy efficient HVAC systems through giving utility rebates. Clark County PUD offers rebates on heat pumps and smart thermostats. While Energy Trust of Oregon offer homeowners rebates on heat pumps, gas furnaces, central AC, heating controls and smart thermostats. Despite the name, Energy Trust of OR rebates are available for residents of both Vancouver, WA and Portland.

• Ducted Heat Pump: Up to $1,200 in rebates

• Ductless Heat Pump: Up to $800 in rebates

• Smart Thermostat: $140 rebate

Energy Trust of OR*

• Ductless Heat Pump: Up to $1,000 in rebates (owner occupied)/ up to $1,800 in rebates (rental)

• Ducted Heat Pump: Up to $3,000 (owner occupied)/ up to $3,000 in rebates (rental)

• Gas Furnace: Up to $1,600 (owner occupied)/ up to $1,600 in rebates (rental)

• Central Air Conditioner: Up to $250 in rebates

HVAC Financing

We have three main financing programs that we use here at Miller’s. Certain programs may work better for specific customers, we endorse all three.

• Puget Sound Cooperate Credit Union (PSCCU) is a great financing program that offers Energy-Smart Loans up to 180 months with fixed rates as low as 4.34% APR. Loan amounts cannot exceed $35,000.

• GreenSky offers a variety of financing packages. They also offer same-as-cash no monthly interest loans if paid in full within 18 months.

• Clark County PUD Financing offers conservation loan financing for weatherization projects, and heat pumps. Loans are repayable over five years for amounts less than $10,000 and seven years on amounts exceeding $10,000. An interest rate of 4.99% applies to all conservation loans and a minimum monthly payment of $25 is required.

Financial Assistance Programs

Clark County Housing Preservation Program (HPP) provides financial assistance to low to moderate-income residents who live within the Woodland city limits and Clark County, WA, but outside of the Vancouver city limits. If eligible you can secure a loan of up to $40,000 through the County at 3% interest for housing projects including HVAC systems.
